The Lemosho route is considered one of the most successful routes for climbing Kilimanjaro due to several facts:
Acclimatization The Lemosho route offers better acclimatization than the other routes, as it offers a slower, more gradual ascent. This allows the body to gradually adapt to altitude, reducing the risk of altitude sickness.
Varied landscapes
The Lemosho route offers a variety of landscapes, from tropical rainforest to alpine tundra, lunar landscapes and glaciers. This variety of landscapes makes the climb more interesting and less monotonous.
Less diffused
The Lemosho lane is less diffused than other lanes, which means it’s less crowded and offers a more peaceful, intimate experience.
